Abstract: A construction board assembly includes a magnesium oxide construction board and an acoustic textile board bonded together with an adhesive. The assembly is transportable as a single unit and can be attached to structural framing members with either side facing the members. The construction board and acoustic textile board provide a balance of structural strength and sound insulation. The assembly can be used in various building applications, including walls, floors, and ceilings, and can receive finish materials or provide a finished surface. The assembly simplifies construction and provides improved performance characteristics, making it suitable for residential, commercial, and industrial building projects.
