    Abstract: A device for the collection and testing of a fluid specimen is disclosed and claimed. The invention is particularly useful for collecting and testing human urine specimens but may also be employed in the veterinary environment or any time a potentially hazardous fluid is to be collected and tested and isolation of the specimen from testing personnel is desired. The invention keeps the specimen enclosed and sealed during transport and testing to facilitate safe handling of specimen. Some embodiments of the invention are highly resistent to tampering by the patient or during transport.
