  • Publication number: 20240350152
Abstract: The catheter assembly may be generally described as having a distal shaft having a guide lumen and an infusion lumen; a proximal shaft connected to the distal shaft, the proximal shaft defining an aspiration lumen and an inflating lumen; an inflatable member at a distal end of the inflating lumen, the inflatable member configured to inflate upon receiving a fluid from the inflating lumen; a stylet tube extending along the aspiration lumen and in fluid communication with the infusion lumen, the stylet tube configured to supply the infusion lumen with a pharmacologic agent. The catheter assembly may be configured to be displaced percutaneously in an artery by the guide lumen moving along a guide wire.

  • Publication number: 20230172436
Abstract: An attachment system for detachably attaching an additional channel to an endoscope, the attachment system comprising: a sleeve for receiving a distal end of the endoscope and a distal end of the additional channel in use, the sleeve having: a sleeve body defining a sleeve channel, through which the distal end of the endoscope and the distal end of the additional channel will extend in use, and having a first open end and a second open end; a rupture mechanism for rupturing the sleeve body to allow separation of the distal end of the additional channel from the distal end of the endoscope.

  • Patent number: 9770256
Abstract: A medical device for safely and effectively removing a clip or a suture from a heart valve is operable in association with a guidewire for positioning the device in proximity to the heart valve. The apparatus may include a blade for cutting a tissue bridge including the clip and an arrangement for removing the tissue bridge from the heart valve. The apparatus may include two arms that secure the clip. The blade may be deployed to core out a central portion of a tissue bridge, including the clip or the suture, from the heart valve. The blade may be activated by an actuator. A retrieval member may be configured to capture the tissue bridge and the clip or suture after excision by the blade.
