  • Patent number: 8659878
Abstract: A switchgear cabinet or rack comprises a mounting unit with vertical mounting profiles laterally delimiting an installation space. Flat fixing sections lie on a mounting plane to fix laterally projecting mounting sections of installed units and comprise components of a detection device for determining the presence of an installed unit in the installation space. A vertical antenna strip is attached to a mounting section and contains antenna elements. Code carriers designed as transponder elements are provided on the installed units. The front face of the antenna strip lies on or is set back by a maximum of 10 mm from said plane, with each transponder element in front of the front face of the antenna strip, fixed to a support section of a retaining element that overlaps the antenna strip, said retaining element being attached to the neighboring mounting section of the associated installed unit by a connection section.

  • Publication number: 20060138062
Abstract: A frame for a switchgear cabinet including horizontal and vertical frame pieces of the front and rear side each forming a vertical frame. The vertical frames are joined to one another by a bottom element and a top element. The vertical frames can be placed at different intervals on beveled fastening edges of the bottom and top elements. The vertical frame pieces have a base limb, which extends in a direction of the frame depth and to which two lateral limbs are coupled. The lateral limbs are situated at a right angle to the base limb, and the lateral limbs and the base limb each have a row of fastening locations with a distribution pattern, wherein the row runs in the longitudinal direction of the frame pieces. The distribution pattern of both lateral limbs differ from one another, and both vertical frame pieces form an imperial fastening plane with the fastening locations of the first lateral limbs, and form a metric fastening plane with the fastening locations of the second lateral limbs.

  • Publication number: 20030146011
Abstract: The invention relates to a housing for receiving electric and/or electronic assemblies with two parallel plate-like covers which are connected to each other by means of profiled limbs extending vertically with respect to said covers. The profiled limbs are embodied as extruded/pressed profiled sections and are provided with moulded, undercut grooves which are formed as a single piece. The two profiled limbs facing the front side of the housing have an inner surface which is disposed in a vertical position with respect to the front side of the housing. The first undercut groove is built into said inner surfaces, being open in the direction of the inner side of the housing.

  • Patent number: 6435364
Abstract: A wall-mounted installation housing for receiving electrical components, having a base part with a floor that can be screwed into the wall. A hood-like cover can be placed onto or over the base part and surrounds an installation space by two side walls, the floor and a cover. To be able to make good use of the available installation space it is possible to fix one or more supports to the base part which protrude from the floor of the base part in the direction of the hood-like cover and support it in relation to the base part. This invention provides supports having an assembly section fitted with fixing recesses to which fittings can be attached such that they face into the installation space.

  • Patent number: 6374651
Abstract: A closing device for a control cabinet door, machine casing or the like, having a security unit with a lock attached to the control cabinet door, machine casing or the like, with a first locking part and a second locking part fixed to the door frame, machine frame or the like. The two locking parts can be made to cooperate with each other or not by application of an electric signal. In a closing device there is a locking and unlocking mechanism suitable for use with all usual types of lock. Thus a lock is used which has a locking mechanism that can be rotated in different directions and in which a locking member subjected to a spring tension is movably guided. In addition, when in a locked position the locking member subjected to a spring tension prevents the rotation of the locking mechanism.

  • Patent number: 6348656
Abstract: A housing for receiving electrical and/or electronic built-in units, having a rack. The housing has vertical frame legs at least in comer areas, wherein an opening is formed between the two frame legs at a front of the rack, through which the housing interior is accessible. A blind frame has vertically extending profiled screening sections which cover the vertical profiled frame sections at least partially and is pivotally connected to the front of the rack. In order to increase the options for outfitting the switchgear cabinet and/or the technical switchgear equipment in the area of the opening at the front, a separate profiled function section extending in the linear profile direction is connected to the profiled screening section and has at least one function projection protruding toward the switchgear cabinet interior.

  • Patent number: 6076384
Abstract: A closure for a switchgear cabinet door, machine case or the like, having a safety device. A lock is attached to the switchgear cabinet door, machine case or the like with a first locking element, and a second locking element is attached to the door frame, machine case frame or the like. Both locking elements can be brought into and out of functional connection with each other under the control of an electric signal. Additional locking of the closure can be simply achieved with commercially available locks because the lock has a turnbuckle, which can be rotated by 90.degree., as the first locking element, and an electromagnet is attached to the door frame or the machine case frame, whereby a locking member as the second locking element can be displaced into and out of the pivot range of the turnbuckle.
