A unique blockchain identifier of a non-fungible token representing the domain on the blockchain is determined. The unique blockchain identifier of the non-fungible token is leveraged to send a request to obtain at least one resolution record of a plurality of different resolution records of different types stored for the domain, The received at least one resolution record is interpreted to determine a resolution action or a target based at least in part on a type associated with the received at least one resolution record. The requested at least one resolution record is utilized to resolve the name of the domain.

Abstract: A request to perform a migration of a domain of a name service is received. The name service is implemented using at least a first blockchain network and a second blockchain network different from the first blockchain network. It is determined whether the domain is managed on the first blockchain network or the second blockchain network. A domain registry of at least the first blockchain network or the second blockchain network tracks a first group of domains managed on the first blockchain network and a second group of domains managed on the second blockchain network. The migration of the domain is performed between the first blockchain network and the second blockchain network based on the determination of whether the domain is managed on the first blockchain network or the second blockchain network.

Abstract: According to a present invention embodiment, a system for acquiring a digital asset on a blockchain comprises one or more memories and at least one processor coupled to the one or more memories. The system receives transaction information for a transaction to acquire the digital asset on the blockchain. The transaction information including a value for acquiring the digital asset is verified based on authentication information. Off-chain processing determines a dynamically changing value for acquiring the digital asset and produces the authentication information based on the dynamically changing value. The transaction is performed on the blockchain to acquire the digital asset in response to verification of the transaction information. Embodiments of the present invention further include a method and computer program product for acquiring a digital asset on a blockchain in substantially the same manner described above.
