  • Patent number: 10141725
Abstract: Conductive elements (104A-C) are positioned within a housing (100) of an electric device. The conductive elements (104A-C) are arranged such that in an event of an electric arc (106) occurring between the conductive elements (104A-C) an electromagnetic force is exerted upon plasma of the electric arc (106) such that the electric arc (106) is directed towards a wall (108) of the housing (100). Furthermore, a conductor configuration (102) includes conductors (104A, 104B, 104C) and sacrificial electrodes (118A-C) positioned within a housing (100) of an electric device, wherein the conductors (104A-C) are arranged such that in an event of an electric arc (106) occurring between the conductors (104A-C) an electromagnetic force is exerted upon plasma of the electric arc (105) such that the electric arc (106) is directed towards the sacrificial electrodes (118A-C).

  • Publication number: 20160196944
Abstract: An electrical contact apparatus is disclosed. The contact apparatus has first contact member having a first contact, a movable contact member received adjacent to the first contact member, the movable contact member having an opposing contact positioned adjacent the first contact, and an armature operable to produce an electromagnetic closing force to cause the movable contact member to remain closed upon application of current through the first contact member, movable contact member. Contact assemblies and methods of operating the contact apparatus are disclosed, as are other aspects.

  • Patent number: 9277683
Abstract: Embodiments include a liquid cooled electronic device including a compartment configured to enclose an electronic module therein. The compartment includes a stationary cooling plate disposed on an interior portion of the compartment, the stationary cooling plate comprising a liquid cooling system configured to remove heat from the stationary cooling plate and a plurality of electrical connectors configured to connect to the electronic module. The electronic module includes a mobile cooling plate configured to intimately fit with the stationary cooling plate when the plurality of electrical connectors are connected to the electronic device module. The heat generated by the electronic module is removed by the mobile cooling plate and the stationary cooling plate.

  • Publication number: 20150245010
Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems and methods for gesture capturing, detection, recognition, and mapping them into commands that allow one or more users to interact with electronic games or any electronic device interfaces. Gesture recognition methods, apparatus and system are disclosed from which application developers can incorporate gesture-to-character inputs into their gaming, learning or the like applications. Also herein are systems and methods for receiving 3D data reflecting hand, fingers or other body parts movements of a user, and determining from that data whether the user has performed gesture commands for controlling electronic devices, or computer applications such as games or others.
