  • Publication number: 20240051679
Abstract: Systems and methods for battery-based aircraft performance are provided. An example computer-implemented method includes accessing, by a computing system, flight plan data for a first flight. Based on the flight plan data, the computing system can compute a first expected power demand on the aircraft's battery system for the first flight. The computing system can access initial battery state data of the aircraft. The computing system can compute, using a battery model, a first capability output based the first expected power demand and the initial battery state. The first capability output can be indicative of a range/ToF of the aircraft for the first flight. The computing system can determine an ability of the aircraft to perform the first flight based on the first capability output and generate an itinerary accordingly. The computing system can transmit, over a network, instructions associated with implementing the itinerary for performance by the aircraft.

  • Publication number: 20230351540
Abstract: The present disclosure provides systems and methods for systems and methods for generating potential flight plans to be used by a ride sharing network, including dynamic and/or automated changes to flight plans that have been engaged with passengers based on real-time information. In particular, the systems and methods of the present disclosure can operate to generate a fleet-level set of potential flight plans which comply with one or more constraints for a fleet of aircraft. The potential flight plans can be exposed into and used by a ride sharing network to provide transportation to users.

  • Publication number: 20220148437
Abstract: Systems and methods for facilitating communication between a number of different computing devices are provided. A service entity that provides a multi-modal transportation service can collaborate with a number of different devices via a vehicle integration interface over a number of different frequencies or networks. The vehicle integration interface includes a number of endpoints. Each endpoint corresponds to a device type associated with a number of devices operated according to a unique protocol. The service entity obtains a communication or provides a message to a respective device via a respective endpoint of the vehicle integration interface. The service entity determines a device type associated with a received communication based on a respective endpoint and translates the communication based on the device type. The translated communication is aggregated with information received from a number of different devices configured to operate and communicate according to a number of different protocols.

  • Publication number: 20210350046
Abstract: Systems and methods for simulating aircraft systems are provided. A system includes simulation entity agents defined to represent the behavior of multi-modal ride-sharing agents (e.g., aerial vehicle, ground vehicle, air traffic controllers, etc.) and world data representing a world environment within which the simulation entity agents may operate. The system obtains agent data indicative of a simulation aerial vehicle and world data indicative of a particular simulated world environment. The system determines scenario data including a scenario definition defining a simulation scenario and generates a simulation instance based on the scenario data. The simulation instance includes the simulation aerial vehicle within the simulated world environment. The simulation aerial vehicle can have access, within the simulation, to one or more backend services of a transportation services system configured to facilitate an aerial transportation service.
