  • Publication number: 20130295077
Abstract: Among other things, the present invention provides methods and compositions of treating Sanfilippo syndrome type B (Sanfilippo B) by, e.g., intrathecal (IT) administration of a Naglu protein. A suitable Naglu protein can be a recombinant, gene-activated or natural protein. In some embodiments, a suitable Naglu protein is a recombinant Naglu protein. In some embodiments, a recombinant Naglu protein is a fusion protein containing a Naglu domain and a lysosomal targeting moiety. In some embodiments, the lysosomal targeting domain is an IGF-II moiety.

  • Patent number: 7431522
Abstract: A method for reducing banding during printing with an imaging apparatus includes establishing a current original move length; determining a current original absolute position; calculating a current adjusted absolute position based on the current original absolute position; determining a current difference between the current original absolute position and the current adjusted absolute position; determining a current move-to-move adjustment amount by subtracting the current difference from a previous difference between a previous original absolute position and a previous adjusted absolute position; and generating an adjusted move length for a next move by adding the current move-to-move adjustment amount to the current original move length.
    Type: Grant

Date of Patent: October 7, 2008
    Assignee: Lexmark International, Inc
Inventors: Kenneth Wayne Linville, Randall David Mayo, Bohong Zhang
  • Patent number: 7298923
Abstract: A method for aligning a pair of digital images includes providing a pair of digital images, wherein each said image comprises a plurality of intensities corresponding to a domain of points in a D-dimensional space, and the pair of images present adjacent views of a same object of interest. A weighting function is applied to each image of the pair of images, wherein the weighting function is centered on the object of interest, the weighting function has a maximum value on the object of interest, and the value of the weighting function decreases with increasing distance from the object of interest. The pair of images is aligned by correlated the weighted intensities on one image with those in the other image.

Date of Patent: November 20, 2007
Assignee: Siemens Medical Solutions USA, Inc.
