  • Publication number: 20250087663
Abstract: An electrode assembly includes a separator, and a first electrode and a second electrode positioned across the separator. The separator, the first electrode, and the second electrode are wound around two winding axes and then implement a shape including a central portion and a pair of rounded portions positioned at both sides (e.g., opposite sides) of the central portion. The first electrode includes a first substrate having an inner end, a first composite material layer positioned on a part of the first substrate at a distance from the inner end, and a protection layer positioned on the inner surface of a bent part of the first substrate at a distance from the inner end and the first composite material layer.

  • Publication number: 20250070335
Abstract: Disclosed is a secondary battery that reduces or prevents heat transfer from a battery cell to surroundings thereof if an event occurs in the battery cell. The secondary battery includes an electrode assembly including a first electrode plate and a second electrode plate including an electrode uncoated portion protruding from one side, a case for receiving the electrode assembly, and defining a lower opening at a lower end, a cap assembly at one surface of the case for sealing the case, and including an electrode terminal electrically connected to the electrode uncoated portion, and a sealing plate coupled along a perimeter of the case at the lower opening.

  • Publication number: 20250030089
Abstract: A battery pack configured to suppress a fire by spraying a coolant from above or submerging at least a portion of the battery pack in the coolant in response to a fire occurring in the battery pack. In response to a fire occurring in a battery pack, a coolant may be sprayed from above to serve as a sprinkler. The fire may be extinguished and heat propagation may be suppressed by submerging at least a portion of the battery pack in the coolant. Since the fire may be extinguished immediately and the heat propagation may be prevented even when a battery cell reaches thermal runaway, safety of the battery pack may be improved.

  • Patent number: 8093813
Abstract: A plasma display panel enhancing an emission efficiency of a green phosphor layer by increasing an excitation efficiency of a green phosphor layer using visible light emitted from a dielectric layer or barrier ribs, the plasma display panel including a first substrate and a second substrate disposed to face the first substrate. A plurality of display electrodes are formed on the first substrate. A first dielectric layer is formed on the first substrate to cover the display electrodes. A plurality of address electrodes are formed on the second substrate in a direction crossing the display electrodes. A second dielectric layer is formed on the second substrate to cover the address electrodes. Barrier ribs are disposed in a space between the first dielectric layer and the second dielectric layer to form a plurality of discharge cells. The second dielectric layer and the barrier ribs comprise a short wavelength phosphor material.
