    Abstract: An image display device and an image display method, in which the display position of an image frame on a display screen changes in order to enhance the image quality, are provided. The image display device according to the exemplary embodiment of the present invention includes a decoder that decodes an input image signal; and a frame display controller which alternately outputs the decoded input image signal and an image signal obtained by delaying the decoded input image signal by a predetermined number of lines of one frame. The display position of the image frame on the display screen may change so that the image quality of a low-resolution image or an image having excessive noise is enhanced.

A compensation factor extractor extracts the compensation factor corresponding to the pixel from storage, based on the position data of the pixel, and a compensator compensates brightness of each pixel based on the extracted compensation factor. The video processing apparatus and method provide for display of video images with adequate brightness depending on the displaying and viewing positions.

    Abstract: A frame transmission method performed by a transmitting end in a video reproduction system having the transmitting end for wirelessly transmitting frames and a receiving end for receiving the frames transmitted from the transmitting end and reproducing a video signal. The transmitting end receives information about a state of a wireless environment from the receiving end, determines the frames to be transmitted to the receiving end in consideration of the received information about the wireless environment state, and transmits the determined frames to the receiving end. The receiving end measures the state of the wireless environment by judging whether an error exists in the received frames and transmits the measured state of the wireless environment to the transmitting end. Accordingly, different frames can be transmitted according to the state of the wireless environment.

    Abstract: In a method of wirelessly transmitting an audio and/or video input signal having a standard definition (SD), the input signal is converted to a signal having a high definition (HD) and noise is removed from the converted signal. High definition encoding is performed to the noise-free signal and the encoded signal is wirelessly transmitted. Accordingly, image deterioration can be reduced by eliminating the noise before encoding the input signal. In addition, the HD encoding is performed instead of the SD encoding to reduce image degradation.
