Abstract: A battery module includes a battery cell stack formed by stacking a plurality of battery cells; a module frame that houses the battery cell stack and includes side surface parts, each covering both side surfaces of the battery cell stack along the stacking direction of the battery cells; and at least one compression pad that is arranged at least at one place between adjacent battery cells among the battery cells or between the battery cell, located on the outermost side among the battery cells, and the side surface parts among the battery cells, wherein a reserved space in the module frame is 3% or more, based on the stacking direction of the battery cells.

Abstract: A battery module includes a module case having a battery cell stack constituted by a plurality of stacked battery cells received therein, a heat dissipation resin added between the battery cell stack and a first surface of the module case, a cooling member coupled outside the first surface of the module case, the cooling member being configured to cool the battery cell stack, and a heat transfer material added to a middle part of an outer surface of the cooling member that faces the first surface of the module case. The heat transfer material is disposed at a part of the battery cell stack that has a relatively high temperature, whereby temperature deviation between the battery cells is reduced.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a battery module including a swelling relief unit, and more particularly a battery module including a cell stack constituted by one or more stacked battery cells and a module case configured to receive the cell stack therein, wherein a swelling relief unit is disposed so as to face an outermost battery cell disposed at an outermost side of the cell stack, the swelling relief unit having a convex portion configured to press at least a part of the battery cell.

Abstract: A battery system includes: a battery and a battery management system (BMS) for controlling charging of the battery depending on a normal mode using a first battery capacity between a first lower limit state of charge (SOC) and a first upper limit SOC or an eco-friendly mode using a second battery capacity between a second lower limit SOC and a second upper limit SOC, the first lower limit SOC is smaller than the second lower limit SOC, and the first upper limit SOC is greater than the second upper limit SOC.
