Abstract: An instrument cluster for a vehicle is disclosed. A display panel with markings and characters of various gauges, such as a speedometer, tachometer and hydraulic gauge, displays information on various conditions and operations of vehicle. An indicating pointer indicates the markings. An LED placed at the rear side of the display panel illuminates the display panel during nighttime operation. A gauge motor rotates the indicating pointer. A three-dimensional illumination panel is placed on the display panel and has markings or characters formed three-dimensionally by Nd-YAG laser.
