Abstract: An automatic film movement device for a camera and driving method therefor to suspend a rewind operation temporarily comprises a first stage release switch, a second stage release switch, a comma switch, and a manual film rewind switch. During a rewind operation, activation of the first stage release switch without activating the second stage release switch cause the rewind operation to stop.

Abstract: An automatic zoom camera and driving method therefor by which a user can take an optimal photograph, while controlling a zoom operation by synthetically controlling a shading of a picture and a change of colour varied in response to a zoom operation in accordance with a distance of an object, sensitivity of a film, environmental brightness and a brightness index of a strobe, while operating a zoom function. The automatic zoom camera is constituted by a switch block to sense information about an automatic zoom mode, a strobe mode, a sensitivity of film and a zoom position.

Abstract: An auto power cut-off device for camera and a driving method which can automatically close an automatic lens cap and concurrently cut-off power supplied to an auxiliary circuit in case that a user does not use a camera during a predetermined time after supplying the power to the camera. The auto power cut-off device is constituted by a switch block including a power control for staring the operation of the automatic camera, an encoder switch which can be varied according to the state of the automatic camera, and an operation switch for controlling the operation of the camera. The power cut-off device also has a micro controller of outputting a signal to block the power supplied to the auxiliary circuits in case that the automatic camera is not used during a predetermined period after operation of the automatic camera beings; and a power control means for blocking the power supplied to the auxiliary circuits in case that the power cut-off signal is inputted from the micro controller.

Abstract: A camera capable of outputting brightness and distance information comprising a microcomputer, a battery checking circuit, an autofocusing circuit, an infrared-emitting circuit, a light receiving element PSD, a light intensity measuring circuit, a LCD driving circuit and a LCD. The camera provides a user with information about an exact distance from an object without using any extra device and with information about present light intensity by outputting to a display device attached to the camera.
