    Abstract: An apparatus, kit, and system for horticulture. The apparatus has an elongate body that retains a plant therewithin, a flanged portion at a proximal end of the apparatus, and one or more fluid-handling portions. The body is inclined relative to a plane having the flanged portion with a distal end of the apparatus extending in a downwardly inclined altitude with respect to the flanged portion, with the flanged portion supporting the installation of the apparatus into an aperture of a vertical structure having levelled surfaces for fluid received by the apparatus to be handled by one or a combination of the fluid-handling portions. The apparatus may be in the form of one or more assemblable pieces. The apparatus is further part of a system with a vertical structure where a plurality of these apparatuses are installed thereon, and fluid dispensing means that dispenses fluid to the apparatuses.

    Abstract: A garment de-wrinkling device (1) comprises an enclosure (10) for moistening garments (20). An ironing board (40) and an adjacent standby area (41), which are both permeable to steam, are arranged on top of the enclosure (10). During operation of the device (1), the ironing board (40) and a steam iron (30) are used to iron garments (20) which have first been moistened inside the enclosure (10). In the process, steam released by the iron (30) penetrates the garments (20) and enters the enclosure (10) through the ironing board (40). In this way, both the garments (20) on the ironing board (40) and those inside the enclosure (10) are treated by means of steam that is released by the iron (30), and steam is used in an efficient manner. A pressed look is obtained in that the garments (20) are subjected to a moistening process and a subsequent steam ironing process.

    Abstract: An electric iron having a housing (1) and a soleplate (2) in which at least one outlet opening (10;15;34;45) is provided, means (8;19;28;39;43) for generating a fine liquid spray or foam or steam, and means (5) for delivering said generated fine liquid spray or foam or steam through said outlet opening. According to the invention, the iron is provided with detection means (12,14;22,23;35,36;49) for detecting the presence of a surface (7a) in the proximity of the sloplate (2) and for generating a detection signal in response to said detection, and with control means (6) for controlling the delivery of said fine liquid spray or foam or steam in response of said detection signal. For example, the detection means comprise a movable spring-loaded contact element (12) located in the soleplate (2), said element (12) activating a switch (14) for generating said signal when the soleplate is positioned against said surface (7a) and thus depresses said element (12).
