  • Publication number: 20180019643
Abstract: A blade for a fan that can be arranged on a rotor shaft of a rotor of a rotating electric machine, in particular a generator, wherein the blade is at least partially formed from a fiber composite material that has a polymer matrix with mineral fibers embedded therein. A method for producing a blade for a fan arrangeable on a rotor shaft of a rotor of a rotating electrical machine, in particular a generator, wherein the blade is produced using an injection molding method, and wherein a fiber composite material of a polymer matrix with mineral fibers embedded therein is used as injection molding material.

  • Publication number: 20160290160
Abstract: A turbomachine includes an inner housing which radially defines the flow channel of the turbomachine. A thermal barrier coating is arranged about the inner housing. The thermal barrier coating of the inner housing is made of microporous plastic coating which can be added to hollow spheres made of different materials and have different sizes. A method for applying a thermal barrier coating to the inner casing of a turbomachine includes preparing a material having a base material which has a microporous plastic; coating the outside of the wall of the inner casing by applying the base material to the inner casing; and curing the applied material, thus forming the thermal barrier coating.

  • Publication number: 20150028080
Abstract: A method for the cohesive connection of two components, in particular two rotating shaft parts, in a connecting region, is provided, wherein integrally formed portions for manipulating the surface geometry of the components are positioned adjacent to the connecting region, wherein the two components are welded together and wherein a subsequent heat treatment is carried out for the targeted introduction of residual compressive stresses, the distribution of which is also determined by the manipulated surface geometry.

  • Publication number: 20140060058
Abstract: A gas turbine system includes a compressor; a combustion chamber; a gas turbine; and an evaporative cooler. The evaporative cooler includes a plurality of cooling elements, a flow channel, and a feed device. The plurality of cooling elements are arranged in the flow channel. The feed device supplies a liquid to the plurality of cooling elements. The liquid is evaporated or vaporized. Each of the plurality of cooling elements is a flat cooling sheet, a surface of the cooling sheet having hydrophilic properties at least in a subregion which is specified for forming a liquid film. The evaporative cooler is connected ahead of the compressor on an intake side.
