  • Publication number: 20230025926
Abstract: An overfill prevention valve for use with a tank includes a valve element disposed in a fluid fill path and a float assembly including an actuator and a repositionable float. The float is selectively fixed relative to and moveable relative to the actuator to adjust a target fill level. The float is buoyantly supported by the fluid such that the float and the actuator are shiftable in correspondence with an actual fill level. The actuator is coupled with the valve element such that the valve element shifts to a closed position when the actual fill level nears a target fill level. The float includes discrete buoyant components that are shiftable away from each other and from the actuator to facilitate shifting of the float relative to the actuator and that are securable relative to each other and relative to the actuator to facilitate operation of the float assembly.

  • Publication number: 20080229927
Abstract: A control system for use with a filter cleaning apparatus. The filter is supported in a housing and has a surface at which particulates are separated from a fluid stream passing through the filter and collected. The control system comprises a header for supplying pressurized fluid to at least one blowpipe to direct a stream of cleaning fluid into the filter to dislodge particulates from the surface of the filter. An actuatable valve is fluidly connected with the header and the blowpipe. Upon actuation, the valve permits pressurized fluid to flow from the header to the blowpipe. A wireless receiver is associated with the valve to actuate the valve upon receiving an actuation signal.

  • Patent number: 6622660
Abstract: An exhaust system for withdrawing a supply of exhaust gases from an exhaust flue of a heater and expelling the exhaust gases to atmosphere at a remote location that includes a mixing tee for mixing a flow of dilution air and a flow of exhaust gases. The mixing tee includes a first end coupled to the inlet opening of a blower housing and a second end coupled to a supply of dilution air. The dilution air inlet pipe of the mixing tee extends along a longitudinal axis. The mixing tee includes a flue pipe having a first end positioned to receive the exhaust gases from the heater and a second end that enters into the dilution air inlet pipe. The flue pipe extends along a longitudinal axis that is positioned at an angle relative to the longitudinal axis of the dilution air inlet pipe. The exhaust flue extends toward the upstream end of the dilution air inlet pipe such that the flow of dilution air impinges upon the flow of exhaust gases.
