  • Patent number: 9925029
Abstract: In a method of manufacturing a surgical implant, a flexible areal basic structure having a first face and a second face is provided. At least one linear marking thread is placed, in a floating manner, onto one of the faces of the basic structure and mechanically fixed (e.g. by stitching) to the basic structure at a first location and at a second location which are spaced from each other. Thereafter, the linear marking thread is thermally fixed to the basic structure in an area between the first location and the second location by a melt-fusing process.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: August 21, 2015
Date of Patent: March 27, 2018
Assignee: Johnson & Johnson Medical GMBH
Inventors: Jenifer Schneidereit, Boris Batke, Barbara Schuldt-Hempe

  • Patent number: 7291155
Abstract: In a system with a surgical needle and a handle, the surgical needle has in its proximal end-section, lying opposite the needle tip, a holding section (14), which is set up for insertion into the handle. The handle has a channel (32), set up for holding the holding section (14) of the surgical needle, and a locking device (50, 70) with a locking element (50) which is displaceable in longitudinal direction of the channel (32) from a locking position, in which the holding section (14) is fixed to the handle, into a release position, in which the holding section (14) can be pulled out from the channel (32).
