  • Patent number: 11989103
Abstract: A device is configured to index file system names and paths of a single chain of backed-up snapshots. The device is configured to obtain a first snapshot of the file system. Further, the device is configured to scan the first snapshot of the file system to obtain a first scan of the nodes and the tree structure at a first time point. The device is further configured to insert the first scan into a database. Then the device is configured to index the nodes in the database.

  • Publication number: 20240145652
Abstract: Light-emitting devices including solid-state light-emitting devices, light-emitting diode (LED) devices, and LED packages with support elements for improved near-field and far-field emissions are disclosed. LED chips may be mounted to support elements in a manner that directs light through the support elements in desired emission directions. Support elements include optical structures that spread and mix light laterally within the support element. Optical structures include various light-altering layers, such as light-diffusing layers or light-reflective layers, that are arranged to effectively increase internal reflections for lateral spreading of light. Patterned arrangements of light-altering layers include portions that mask direct emissions for LED chips, thereby redistributing emissions laterally to increase near-field and/or far-field uniformity across an increased portion of emitting surfaces.

Optical structures include interior mixing chambers bounded by light-altering layers, such as light-diffusing layers or light-reflective layers, that effectively increase internal reflections within the mixing chambers for lateral spreading of light. Support elements as described may be well suited for low profile LED devices where device heights are less than or equal to device widths.

  • Patent number: 11971741
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure control aging of a signal path in an idle mode to mitigate aging. In one example, an input of the signal path is alternately parked low and high over multiple idle periods to balance the aging of devices (e.g., transistors) in the signal path. In another example, a clock signal (e.g., a clock signal with a low frequency) is input to the signal path during idle periods to balance the aging of devices (e.g., transistors) in the signal path. In another example, the input of the signal path is parked high or low during each idle period based on an aging pattern.

  • Patent number: 11845016
Abstract: This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices for phytochemical extraction. One example extraction system includes two solvent columns, a material column, and a dewaxing column. The solvent columns store and provide solvent for stripping target chemicals from plant material in the material column. The solvent mixed with target chemicals passes into the dewaxing column, where the target chemicals are separated from waxes and lipids. Cooling is applied to elements of the system by way of an open-loop CO2 refrigeration method. Solvent is moved from the solvent columns to the material column by creating a pressure differential between the two solvent columns.

  • Publication number: 20230324116
Abstract: Techniques and systems for separating components of a mixture of compressed gases each having different boiling points are described. One example system includes multiple recovery stages that each recover one of the gases by condensing it into liquid form. The recovery stages are chained together, such that each stage recovers a gas having a boiling point that is higher than those of the gases to be recovered in downstream stages. Each stage typically includes a warming element that is fluidly coupled to a condenser element that provides a surface cooled to a temperature low enough to condense one of the gases, but high enough such that the remaining gases remain in gaseous form. The system may include an initial evaporator stage that heats a liquid solution of phytochemical extracts and multiple solvents, thereby recovering the extracts and producing the mixture of gaseous solvents.

  • Patent number: 10493374
Abstract: A short-path distillation apparatus and method of operation are described. An example short-path distillation apparatus includes a double-walled bulb-shaped condensing head. The double wall forms a coolant chamber that substantially envelopes an inner condensate chamber. Coolant is introduced into and removed from the coolant chamber via ports in the outer wall of the head. Condensate in gaseous form is introduced into the condensate chamber where it comes in contact with and condenses as distillate upon the cold inner surface of the condensate chamber. Condensed distillate travels down the inner surface of the condensate chamber and then into a distillate outlet conduit that transports the condensed distillate to a collection vessel.
