  • Publication number: 20240071587
Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, and methods include technology to provide guidance to a patient receiving obstructive sleep apnea treatment. For example, such technology is configured to extract one or more features describing mobile apps usage based on one or more mobile apps logs from a mobile device. A personality type of the patient is determined based on processing the one or more features describing mobile apps usage. A treatment guidance for the patient is determined based on the personality type, where the treatment guidance comprises a first set of messages for the patient in response to a first personality type and a different second set of messages for the patient in response to a different second personality type. The treatment guidance for the patient is communicated to the mobile device associated with the patient receiving obstructive sleep apnea treatment.

  • Publication number: 20240070952
Abstract: Systems, apparatuses and methods provide technology for generating a video presentation, including determining a plurality of insights, each insight associated with a data presentation and, based on at least a portion of therapy compliance data for a patient, determining, for each insight, an insight location on a reporting dashboard and an avatar position for an avatar on the reporting dashboard, formulating a feedback message for each of the insights, and generating a video presentation based on the reporting dashboard, the video presentation including a display of the data presentations and a display of an animation sequence for the avatar, the animation sequence including, for each insight, a display of the avatar at the respective avatar position, the avatar pointing to the insight location for the insight, and a synchronized audio signal representing the feedback message for the insight.

  • Publication number: 20200193858
Abstract: In one embodiment, an apparatus, comprising: a memory comprising instructions; and one or more processors configured to execute the instructions to: receive first data corresponding to measurements of behavior of a user in the absence of a target behavior; receive second data corresponding to a measured behavior of the user relative to a target behavior, the target behavior representing an improvement in the behavior of the user corresponding to the first data; provide a first distribution for the second data; analyze the first distribution for asymmetry; estimate a level of motivation of the user based on the analysis; and provide the estimated level of motivation as a basis for a subsequent action.

  • Patent number: 10366206
Abstract: A computer-implemented method or system is provided for providing connecting relationships between wearable devices. The method includes measuring a first health parameter of a user via one or more sensors of a first wearable device; measuring a second health parameter of the user via one or more sensors of a second wearable device; determining an alert action based on a combination of the measurements of first health parameter and the second health parameter; and generating a notification to the user based on the alert action.

  • Publication number: 20160374610
Abstract: Methods and apparatus for providing individuals with coaching concerning their eating choices. The coaching system makes a determination of an individual's hunger, a determination concerning the availability of food for consumption and, in some embodiments, a determination of the individual's mood. Based on these determinations, the system makes eating recommendations to the individual, e.g., such as exhortations to refrain from eating or to eat a healthy snack.

  • Patent number: 7777649
Abstract: A hand held device for generating commands and transferring data between the hand-held device and a base device (including consumer electronic equipment). The hand-held device detects the motion of the device itself, interpreting the motion as a command, and executing or transferring the command. The motion of the device can include gestures made by the user while holding the device, such as the motion of throwing the hand-held device toward a base device. The commands generated by the user range from basic on/off commands to complex processes, such as the transfer of data. In one embodiment, the user can train the device to learn new motions associated with existing or new commands. The hand-held device analyzes the basic components of the motion to create a motion model such that the motion can be uniquely identified in the future.
