Patent number: 10259690Abstract: A C-gripper for arranging at a cross-member or at a suspension element and a cross-member having at least one such C-gripper for for handling a load, formed from an upper strut, a vertical strut and a support strut which forms a so-called hook base, onto which the load can be placed. The upper strut and the vertical strut are, as with conventional constructions, rigidly connected to one another and substantially arranged at right angles to one another. Other angles likewise lie within the framework of the invention. However, the support strut is not rigid, but rather connected in a rotatably mounted manner to the vertical strut and, indeed, in such a manner that a clear dimension (h) of a mouth of the C-gripper can be modified, that is to say can be increased or decreased. Moreover, the vertical strut is telescopable. It is thus configured as a telescopic strut.Type: GrantFiled: March 8, 2018Date of Patent: April 16, 2019Assignee: GKS Stahl- und Maschinenbau GmbHInventor: Boris Franke

Patent number: 9663330Abstract: A raising device realized to be connected to a tower segment of a wind turbine is provided. The raising device comprises a connection member to a raising machine and a plurality of holding members positioned at predefined distances from each other and orientated to be movable in radial locking directions which locking directions are such that the holding members when moved into a locking position at a predefined engagement position of the tower segment engage with a counter-shape of the tower segment, whereby the holding members are automatically tiltable and/or shiftable into the locking position by a movement mechanism. A method of equipping a tower segment of a wind turbine for transport by means of such raising device is also provided.Type: GrantFiled: April 29, 2014Date of Patent: May 30, 2017Assignee: SIEMENS AKTIENGESELLSCHAFTInventors: Jesper Moeller, Kenneth Helligsoe Svinth, Boris Franke

Patent number: 9388021Abstract: Disclosed embodiments relate to an attachment and an apparatus for lifting heavy loads by a lifting device in the form of a sling or strap. The attachment can be produced inexpensively and has a sufficient load bearing capacity with a low material requirement. The attachment comprises a contact part, which has a contact section with a length, measured in the longitudinal direction of the attachment, which corresponds to at least the width of the lifting device, the contact section having a contact surface on which, during practical use, the lifting device rests, and two attachment sections of which in each case one is integrally formed on one of the ends of the contact section and which are provided for attaching a hoist for coupling the attachment to a lifting apparatus.Type: GrantFiled: November 10, 2011Date of Patent: July 12, 2016Assignee: Spanset Inter AGInventor: Boris Franke

Patent number: 8544925Abstract: A sling element and a combination for coupling sling gear, to a goods item to be transported, wherein the sling element has a fastening section, into which an oblong-shaped opening is formed which leads from the upper side of the fastening section to a contact area formed on the underside of the fastening section. The combination enables the sling element to be fastened in a durably secure way even with adverse loads. This is achieved by a wedge area aligned in the longitudinal direction of the opening of the fastening section being formed on the fastening section, which wedge area runs in a plane which intersects the longitudinal axis of the opening at an acute angle and is designed as a support for a fastening member which is provided to brace the sling element on the goods item to be transported.Type: GrantFiled: March 12, 2010Date of Patent: October 1, 2013Assignee: SpanSet-secutex GmbHInventor: Boris Franke
