  • Patent number: 10193049
Abstract: A thermoelectric generator unit, in particular for coupling to an exhaust gas pipe of an internal combustion engine, comprises at least one inner tube (16) having gas flowing therein and whose outer circumference comprises at least one flat portion (24). An oval outer housing (12) completely surrounds the inner tube (16) in circumferential direction. A plurality of thermoelectric modules (14) are arranged on the flat portions (24) of the inner tube (16). At least one cooling element (18) is provided which comprises a flat side on which the thermoelectric modules (14) are arranged. The assembly unit made up of inner tube (16), thermoelectric modules (14) and cooling element (18) is surrounded by an elastic compensation element (20) which rests on the inner side of the outer housing (12) and is retained in the outer housing (12) by means of clamping.

  • Publication number: 20160245268
Abstract: A pump includes a chamber defined by a piston movable in a body comprising an intake opening able to communicate with the chamber and a first non-return member authorizing passage of fluid from the opening toward the chamber, and prohibiting the passage from the chamber toward the opening. An expulsion opening is between the chamber and a duct, and a second non-return member authorizes passage of fluid from the chamber toward the duct, and prohibits passage from the duct toward the chamber. The body includes a discharge opening communicating with the duct and able to communicate with the opening, and a third non-return member movable between an open position, in which the duct communicates with the opening, and a closed position prohibiting the passage of fluid between the duct and the opening. The pump includes a member to move the third non-return member.

  • Publication number: 20100146942
Abstract: An exhaust system of an internal combustion engine, in particular of a vehicle, has an insert through which exhaust gas flows, for purifying the exhaust gas, and a mixing chamber through which exhaust gas flows and which is arranged upstream of the insert through which exhaust gas flows. The mixing chamber includes at least one permeable wall and is arranged on a channel wall of the exhaust system and protrudes radially into the interior of the exhaust system. The exhaust system further has a vaporizer device that vaporizes an oxidizable liquid and introduces the vapor into the mixing chamber, and an ignition device that protrudes at least partly into the mixing chamber. The vaporizer device includes a glow element which is configured and heatable in such a way that an auto-ignition of the oxidizable vapor occurs on its surface.
