  • Publication number: 20260208229
Abstract: A method for sorting conveyed material, comprising the steps of providing conveyed material that includes components made of a metal or alloys thereof as well as other components. The method including separating components made of the metal or alloys thereof into a target fraction by means of at least one separating device. A residual fraction of non separated components remains. The method includes determining a loss portion of components made of the metal or alloys thereof in the residual fraction, and controlling or regulating the separating device depending on the determined loss portion. An apparatus for sorting and for carrying out the method is provided.
