  • Patent number: 8925027
Abstract: Systems and methods for multipoint video distribution are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, system for multipoint video distribution include at least one endpoint including a EECM and a DECM, and at least one server including a SECM, the server being coupled to the endpoint. In some embodiments, methods for configuring an encoder include receiving at least one property related to a capability of a decoder, determining a number of layers to be coded by the encoder, and configuring the encoder based on that at least one property.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: January 20, 2011
Date of Patent: December 30, 2014
    Assignee: Vidyo, Inc.
Inventors: Roi Sasson, Jonathan Lennox, Stephen Cipolli, Boris Levi, Ofer Shapiro, Wonkap Jang, Michael Horowitz

  • Patent number: 6319292
Abstract: A capacitor includes a porous pellet formed from compressed conductive particles. The pellet has a lead receiving external surface. The conductive particles at the lead receiving surface are fused together to create a fused layer on the external surface of the pellet. A lead wire has one of its ends welded to the fused layer on the surface of the pellet. The fused layer is formed by exposing it to high temperatures, preferably by use of a laser beam.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: June 5, 2000
Date of Patent: November 20, 2001
    Assignee: Vishay Sprague, Inc.
Inventors: Yuri L. Pozdeev-Freeman, Boris Levi, Semion Akselrod
