Abstract: A connector in the form of a support which can be mounted on or build onto one article which is to be connected to another article which can have an entirely identical connector adapted to be joined to the first, a connecting member on the support being swingable, and which has a tongue forming one end of the member and means defining a cavity at an opposite end, dimensioned to accommodate the tongue. An actuating mechanism is provided to pivot the connecting member between a first position in which the tongue is retracted into the support and a second position in which the tongue projects from the support generally perpendicular or transverse to the retracted position and can engage in the cavity of the connecting member of the other article when the latter is in its retracted position.

Abstract: A power brush e.g. for a vacuum cleaner or street sweeper has its bristle bodies swivelably mounted on a member which is given an orbital movement so that the eccentric axes of the bristle bodies with respect to their swivel axis induces an additional oscillatory motion of each bristle body as it moves in the orbital path generated by the motion of the member on which its carrier is mounted.

Abstract: A power rake having independently pivotal tines mounted on a common member which is displaced relative to a tractor-carried support in an orbital or cyclical manner. Each of the tines has an eccentric portion designed so that the tine moves through the soil on edge during at least part of its travel and has a broad side engaging the soil over part of its travel.

Abstract: A rake having independently pivotal tines which have eccentric portions designed so that the rake moves through the soil on edge upon displacement of the support in one direction and moves through the ground broadside upon displacement of the rake through the ground in an opposite direction.
