Abstract: A housing, such as an electronic distribution box, is made of fire-inhibiting material. The housing includes one back wall, two side walls, one top wall, and one bottom wall as well as one door. The side walls, the top wall and the bottom wall are provided with an inner water-containing layer and an outer fiber-containing layer. In case of fire, the water vaporizes and penetrates into the fiber-containing layer to control the maximum temperature that the two layers can reach.
