  • Publication number: 20230272739
Abstract: An improved internal combustion engine utilizes at least one orbital-epicycle crankpin eccentrically offset from an orbital shaft, rotationally linked to the main shaft via an orbital-epicyclic gear set, such that the piston and connecting rod, influenced by the force from the thermodynamic process, transfers a straight linear force to the orbital-epicyclic crankpin via a conventional connecting rod and the two-piece flying crank arm to the main shaft. The concept provides a simple way of adjusting or inverting the piston to crank relationship for a different engine application and fuel characteristics with a variety of (dwell duration) ECVC cycle durations to appear at TDC or BDC.

  • Patent number: 10113623
Abstract: An improved internal combustion engine utilizes at least one orbital body with at least one orbiting rod journal offset and engaged in a specific way from the center of orbiting body. Further, orbiting body together with orbiting rod journal and one of the gears as one body, rotationally linked to the block via stationary second gear engaged in 1:1 ratio. Which transfers the rotation to main journal via flying arm. Such that radial motion of flying arm transfers the rotation to the main crankshaft axis and constitute one body. This results in a constant volume compression period of max. 60° , improving operation, efficiency and cleanliness of the engine.

  • Publication number: 20120061970
Abstract: The invention provides a system for capturing moving air and extracting energy from the moving air, the system comprising. A rotor cone is provided having an outer surface, the rotor cone being rotatable about its central axis and having a plurality of veins affixed upon the outer surface of the rotor cone, for receiving a force from the moving air in order to rotate the rotor cone. A shroud surrounds the rotor cone and extends past the narrow end of the cone, opening to an open end having a diameter substantially equal to that of the cone. When moving air enters the shroud at the open end, the moving air compresses within the shroud until it reaches the cone, passes between the cone and the shroud, and impacts the plurality of veins, rotating the cone. A generator within the cone generates electrical energy. In an embodiment, a system is provided for opening the gap between the cone and the shroud under heavy wind to bypass a portion of the moving air.
