  • Publication number: 20050121589
Abstract: A device for storing objects by suspending the objects on a wall includes a base plate and a flange extending perpendicular from the base plate. The base plate has a hole and a first slot extending from the hole. The first slot has a smaller width than the diameter of the hole. The flange has a second slot directed from one end of the flange towards the other end of the flange. One end of a string provided with enlargements, which may pass the hole but not the two slots, has been permanently inserted in the first slot.

  • Publication number: 20010005436
Abstract: An air bearing of the type having a first component with a first surface and a second component with a first surface, wherein the surfaces are movable relative to each other with a small space provided between the first surfaces. At least one of the surfaces facing each other being provided with a groove pattern producing during mutual movement of the components a pumping effect in a gas medium provided between the groove provided surface of the one component and the counter-surface of the other component for creating a thin medium film preventing physical contact of the surfaces during mutual motion. The counter-surface is provided with a thin coating for preventing wear at contact between the surfaces.

  • Patent number: 5325586
Abstract: A double row, angular contact ball bearing comprised of an integral inner race ring and an integral outer race ring, the outer race ring having at least one circumferential depressing between the rows of balls and the inner race ring having a circumferentially radially extending end member axially outside each row of balls. The present invention also relates to a method of manufacturing double row, angular contact ball bearings by shaping sheet metal or tubular work pieces to finished inner or outer race rings by rolling, pressing or deep drawing, introducing rows of balls between the race rings, shaping the race rings to final form by rolling or pressing, and rolling the rows of balls constantly about the circumferential periphery of the inner race ring during the rolling or pressing of the race rings.

  • Patent number: 4944642
Abstract: A rotary machine, such as a hammer drill, comprises a tool-carrying shaft (12), which is rotatably supported in the machine housing (11) by means of a ball bearing (24). The outer race ring (25) and the inner race ring (26) of the bearing are axially secured in the housing (11) and on the shaft (12) respectively. In order to make possible a limited axial movement of the shaft (12) relative to the housing (11) one of the race tracks (27) of the inner race ring (26) and the outer race ring (25) is formed cylindrical.
