  • Patent number: 11233409
Abstract: An arrangement for controlling a disconnector arranged between power batteries and a consumer side of an electric system of a motor vehicle comprises a maneuver switch to be manually operated and configured to connect a control unit for the control of the disconnector to a conducting line on the battery side of the disconnector. The maneuver switch is configured to in a first position by movable contact members thereof connect each of two fixed output contacts to a different of two fixed input contacts than in a second position. A parameter is sensed on at least one input line from the maneuver switch to the control unit for determining which of the first and second position is assumed by the maneuver switch.

  • Patent number: 6763588
Abstract: A method of providing with precision a number of long and narrow through holes (11) in a body (1) made of a high-density material. The body (1) is made in the form of a number of partial bodies (2, 2′, 2″), which are arranged close to each other and from the body (1). Each partial body (2, 2′, 2″) is defined by an outer surface (5), which is part of the outer surface of the entire body (1), an inner surface (6), which is part of the inner surface of the entire body (1), as well as a pair of boundary surfaces (7, 8), which extend from the outer surface (5) to the inner surface (6). Holes (11) are produced by machining at least one of the bounding surfaces (7, 8) adjacent partial bodies (2′, 2″). Each hole (11) extends from the outer surface (5) to the inner surface (6) along said at least one boundary surface (7, 8). The thus machined partial bodies (2, 2′, 2″) are fixedly attached to each other.

  • Patent number: 6712508
Abstract: A device is provided for recording in at least two planes radiation from a radiotherapy apparatus. The device comprises a dimensionally stable frame which is adapted to be arranged in a defined position relative to the radiotherapy apparatus, an attachment on the frame for a recording means, and a recording means which extends from the attachment at an acute angle to the frame along an axis of rotation and to the center of the frame. The recording means is adapted to assume at least two defined rotational positions on the axis. In addition, the recording means exhibits a surface for supporting a radiation recording unit, which surface is located in a plane that forms an acute angle with the axis of rotation, the plane of the surface when rotating the recording means being adapted to turn on a single pivot point which is fixed relative to the frame.

  • Publication number: 20030004503
Abstract: A device for recording in at least two planes radiation from a radiotherapy apparatus in a limited area at which the radiation is directed. The device comprises a dimensionally stable frame (1) which is adapted to be arranged in a defined position relative to said radiotherapy apparatus, an attachment (4) on the frame (1) for a recording means, and a recording means (5) which extends from the attachment (4) at an acute angle to the frame (1) along an axis of rotation (6) and to the center of the frame (1). The recording means (5) is adapted to assume at least two defined rotational positions on said axis (5). In addition, the recording means (5) exhibits a surface (14) for supporting a radiation recording unit (13), which surface (14) is located in a plane (9) that forms an acute angle with the axis of rotation (6), the plane (9) of the surface (14) when rotating the recording means (5) being adapted to turn on a single pivot point (7) which is fixed relative to the frame (1).

  • Patent number: 6049587
Abstract: A radiotherapy appliance having a plurality of controllable radiation beams which converge on a focus volume wherein an object being irradiated can be movably positioned relative to the focus volume for varying time periods and with varying radiation exposure rates, optimally under control of a computer. The computer controls the focus volume radiation beam size, intensity, and exposure time for subareas of the treatment target in response to a radiation dose distribution determined for the treatment target. A determination of the radiation beam size, intensity, and dwell time of the focus volume in the target area, is made by initially dividing up the specified treatment area into volume elements or voxels and having biological characteristics of the treatment area assigned to each voxel. The energy deposition incident to each voxel to provide this biological characteristic is then calculated.

  • Patent number: 5470200
Abstract: A guide vane arrangement for axial fans, intended to translate the rotational component of the gas flow velocity after passage through the impeller (1) into a substantially axial velocity, including a ring (2) of guide vanes disposed downstream of the fan and in spaced relationship therewith. Alternate guide vanes are axially displaced with respect to the remaining ones, so that alternate guide vanes are at a first axial distance from the fan and the remainder are at a second axial distance from the fan. As an alternative, alternate guide vanes have a portion of the end part facing towards the fan removed, so that the forward edge of alternate guide vanes is at a first distance from the fan and the remaining guide vanes are at a second axial distance, and the guide vanes are non-uniformly distributed along the periphery of the ring.
