Abstract: Provided in the present application are random access process control methods and a related device, a method comprising: issuing to a terminal first configuration information, the first configuration information being used for instructing the terminal to repeatedly send a plurality of uplink signals after reception of a random access response message, the plurality of uplink signals comprising a first uplink signal and a second uplink signal; issuing to a signal adjustment apparatus second configuration information, the second configuration information being used for instructing the signal adjustment apparatus to relay the first uplink signal and the second uplink signal in different preset modes; and, upon reception of the plurality of uplink signals repeatedly sent by the terminal according to the random access response message, determining the type of the terminal according to an uplink signal reception condition.
