The method of preparing the desulfurizer comprises: uniformly mixing a metatitanic acid prepared using ferrous sulfate recycled as a by-product from titanium dioxide production with K2CO3, calcining to activate at 500° C.-700° C., mixing with the magnetic iron oxide red and binder, roll molding at room temperature to form balls which are dried at 100° C.-150° C. to obtain the desulfurizer.
