Abstract: Disclosed are an information processing system and an information processing method which enable coordination of information pertaining to a user while taking security into consideration. The information processing system includes a cookie issuance unit 310 which transmits a cookie 423 to a client 400 when the client 400 accesses a member site, a coordination information management unit 320 which receives a user ID for logging in to the member site from the client 400, a database 340 which manages the user ID in coordination with an identifier assigned to the cookie 423, and an ID notification unit 330 which transmits the user ID corresponding to the identifier assigned to the cookie 423 set in the client 400 in response to a request from the client 400.

Abstract: Disclosed are an information processing system and an information processing method capable of increasing the effect of advertisement distribution. The information processing system includes a cookie processing unit 110 which transmits a cookie 221 to a client 20 when the client 20 accesses a member site, receives a user ID for logging in to the member site from the client 20, and receives a notification indicating the completion of the login from the client 20 when having logged in, a database 130 which is able to manage cookie information received from the client 20 based on the cookie 221 in coordination with member attribute information 133 pertaining to the user ID, and an advertisement determination unit 120 which determines an advertisement to be distributed to the client 20 based on the member attribute information 133 after the notification indicating the completion of the login is received from the client 20.
