Abstract: A quick connector assembly is provided for releasably connecting and disconnecting a first conduit and a second conduit. The connector assembly includes a first member having a joint fitting coupled to the first conduit, and a second member having a sleeve with opening for coupling to the second conduit. The second member has a connection end containing an opening for receiving the join fitting. The connector assembly also includes a lock inserted into the second member for locking the first member into the second member. The connection end includes a slot configured to receive the lock; the joint fitting includes a groove; and the lock is in a general ring shape and includes at least one curved portion for engaging the groove on the joint fitting, and a button for causing the curved portion to deform so as to engage or disengage the groove.
