    Abstract: An aqueous sizing comprising a starch mixture comprising a high viscosity starch and a low viscosity starch cooked at a temperature sufficient to solubilize at least 50% of the high viscosity starch and to solubilize at least 50% of the low viscosity starch. Glass fiber strands formed from glass fibers at least partially coated with the sizing composition of the present invention can exhibit good fliability and insertion time properties when used in an air jet loom.
