Abstract: A display apparatus includes: a display; memory storing instructions; and at least one processor which executes the instructions to cause the display apparatus to: divide short-form contents into groups, generate playlists corresponding to the groups, display an interface screen for sequentially playing back short-form contents included in each playlist, each playlist corresponding to an area of the interface screen, identify, based on a graphic interface being displayed in an area, whether an aspect ratio of a short-form content displayed in the area corresponds to a ratio of the area, and based on the aspect ratio corresponding to the ratio of the area, playback the short-form content in the area, and based on the aspect ratio not corresponding to the ratio of the area, crop the short-form content and playback the cropped short-form content in a portion of the area, or playback the short-form content in a portion of the area.
