    Abstract: A roller grate incinerator cooperatively associated with a waste heat boiler, wherein a plurality of cylindrical shaped water cooled roller grates are disposed on an incline to form a undulating water cooled surface upon which a bed waste is laid and burned as the roller grates turn moving the burning waste along the undulating surface, which has a plurality of perforations through which combustion air is supplied to the underside of the bed to facilitate burning of the waste and the flow of hot gases through the waste heat boiler.

    Abstract: An improved waste heat boiler having a front, back and two side walls that cooperate to form a flue with a rotary combustor for burning municipal solid waste extending through the front wall and an asymmetrical bull nose protuberance disposed on the back wall above the rotary combustor and a plurality of nozzles disposed in the side walls or the front wall aligned with the tip of the protuberance to direct jets of air inwardly and downwardly into the flue to reduce the CO content of the exhaust gases from the waste heat boiler.

    Abstract: A process for removing toxic compounds from gaseous emissions of municipal solid waste combustion systems is disclosed in which fly ash produced by the incineration process is used to adsorb toxins, and is recycled to a combustor, which destroys the adsorbed toxins and regenerates the fly ash for further toxin recovery.
