  • Publication number: 20240129027
Abstract: The present application relates to techniques for proactively monitoring and detecting failures associated with downlinking data during satellite passes. In some embodiments, first data representing a performance of a hardware device during a satellite pass may be obtained and performance metrics may be computed based on the first data. Second data may be generated based on the performance metrics and a first machine learning model may be used to determine changepoints within the second data and times associated with each changepoint. A second machine learning model may be used to determine a likelihood that the satellite pass will be successful based on at least one of the quantity of changepoints or the times associated with each changepoint, and a quality of service (QoS) score of a client may be updated based on the likelihood.

  • Patent number: 11937822
Abstract: A device for creating a fistula between blood vessels operates in conjunction with a guidewire to locate and position itself so that it straddles both vessels and is able to draw them together. A fixing agent is released either from within the device or from an external needle, or both, into the procedural site. The fixing agent functions to hold the relative position of the two vessels, to seal the surrounding tissue so that any leaks that do occur don't spread into the tissue to create a hematoma, and to limit expansion of the fistula. After the vessels are in close proximity to each other and the fixing agent is applied, the device of the invention employs a cutting mechanism which opens a portal between the two vessels.

  • Publication number: 20230412260
Abstract: Described herein are systems, methods, media, and devices for generating a satellite program for contacting satellites. In some embodiments, data including one or more targets for accessing a satellite constellation is obtained. Based on the data, a set of representations may be generated and candidate satellite constellation access programs may be determined based on the set of representations. For each program, a first score may be computed for each target to obtain a first set of scores, and a second score may be computed for each first score of the first set of scores to obtain a second set of scores. A satellite constellation access program may be selected from the candidate satellite access programs based on the second set of second scores.

  • Patent number: 11463161
Abstract: The present teachings is generally directed to systems and methods for facilitating communications with a satellite. In some embodiments, a request to communicate with a satellite may be received from a client device, and upon determining that a device identifier associated with the client device is associated with an account authorized to connect to one or more satellite ground stations, a schedule of activity for the account may be retrieved. The schedule of activity may indicate a time period that the client device is authorized to connect to the satellite ground station(s) such that data is communicated between the satellite and the client device, and the satellite ground station(s) may be configured to communicate with the satellite. At a start of the time period, a connection between the client device and the satellite ground station(s) may be generated, and via the connection, data may be provided to the client device.
