  • Patent number: 10970114
Abstract: A computer-implemented method is disclosed. The method comprises receiving a notification from a job scheduler that an execution time for a job registered with the job scheduler is at or before a first time being a current time. The method also comprises identifying, in response to receiving the notification, at least one task from a task data structure with a target runtime that is at or before the first time. The task data structure stores task data for one or more tasks received from one or more client computers, and the task data associates each of the one or more tasks with a target runtime. The method further comprises initiating execution for each of the at least one task and determining whether there is a specific task from the task data structure with a specific target runtime after the first time.

  • Patent number: 10646777
Abstract: Systems and methods for conducting a localized, electronic card game tournament adaptable for play in private homes and public venues with no equipment or system modifications are disclosed. In one embodiment the tournament players' identities are verified. Once the players' identities are identified, they are provided with handheld electronic game units and tournament entry credentials. Players will enter their tournament entry credentials into the respective handheld electronic game units. Once the tournament entry credentials have been entered into the handheld electronic game unit, game events are transmitted to the handheld electronic game unit from a single remote server. Furthermore, in this embodiment, the tournament entry fee, if any, is maintained separately from the remote game server and the handheld electronic game units. The fees may be collected and/or winnings may be paid in case, through electronic transfer or through electronic currency.

  • Publication number: 20130263863
Abstract: A wound care apparatus having a first surface for supporting a first portion of a patient's leg and a second surface for supporting a second portion of the leg. Generally, the apparatus includes a leg support that includes the first the second surfaces, wherein the first surface is configured to support the patient's calf and the second surface is configured to support the patient's foot. In some cases, the leg support includes a pivot joint that allows the support to pivot between a first position that presents the first surface and a second position that presents the second surface. In some instances, the leg support is further configured such that when it is in the first position, a lowest support portion of the first surface is lower than is a lowest support portion of the second surface when the leg support is in the second position. Other implementations are described.
