  • Publication number: 20260212628
Abstract: Methods and systems are provided system for inferring counts of objects. The system obtains one or more point beam proposals associated with one or more detected objects in a scene. Each of the one or more point beam proposals corresponds to a 3D geometry extended from a 2D shape associated with a respective object of the one or more detected objects. Each of the one or more point beam proposals is associated with a respective set of points of a point cloud. The system further determines a regression-based count estimation for the one or more detected objects in the scene utilizing the one or more point beam proposals.
