    Abstract: A computing device, method and computer program product are provided to qualify an instruction based upon the input site of the instruction. In the context of a computing device, the computing device includes data field analysis circuitry to analyze data fields representing a respective instruction that has been received to determine a data field that defines the input site of the respective instruction. The computing device also includes data field comparison circuitry to compare the data field that defines the input site to an eligible input site inclusion listing to determine whether the input site of the instruction is included. The computing device also includes qualification test circuitry to perform one or more additional qualification tests and instruction qualification circuitry to qualify the instruction when the input site is included within the eligible input site inclusion listing and in which the one or more additional qualification tests are satisfied.
