  • Patent number: 9532674
Abstract: A disposable glove dispensing system may allow for a user to efficiently put on a disposable glove without touching the outside of the glove. In various embodiments, a disposable glove may comprise an opening for hand entry having a first opening edge and a second opening edge, a first interconnection point located near the first opening edge, where the first interconnection point attaches the disposable glove to a first adjacent disposable glove, and a second interconnection point located near the second opening edge. The second interconnection point may attach the disposable glove to a second adjacent disposable glove, wherein the disposable glove is positioned between the first adjacent disposable glove and the second adjacent disposable glove. Furthermore, a disposable glove dispensing system may comprise a pack of interconnected disposable gloves, and a glove dispenser comprising two glove hangers for hanging the pack of disposable gloves hang.

  • Patent number: 9468279
Abstract: A fluid transfer assembly comprises a housing for accommodating a fluid. A bellows member disposed in the housing defines an opening therethrough adapted to be in fluid communication with an applicator assembly. The bellows member is adapted to operatively engage the applicator assembly for extension in a first direction and contraction in a second direction. The bellows member seals against the inner surface of the housing during extension and contraction for defining a variable volume chamber with the housing. Expansion of the bellows member in the first direction reduces the chamber volume for generating positive pressure in the housing and forcing fluid through a valve to the applicator assembly. Contraction of the bellows member in the second direction increases the chamber volume for generating negative pressure within the housing for drawing fluid into the chamber.

  • Publication number: 20160029770
Abstract: An apparatus for dispensing a fluid comprises a housing and a resilient liner adapted to hold the fluid disposed in the housing. A fluid transfer mechanism is in fluid communication between the liner and an applicator assembly mounted on the housing for dispensing the fluid on the skin of the user. The applicator assembly includes an actuator movable relative to the housing so as to activate the fluid transfer mechanism when the actuator is reciprocated. A fluid delivery element is held in contact against skin of a user for applying the fluid onto the skin. The fluid delivery element is supported on the actuator to be movable together with the actuator by varying contact pressure with the skin. Each movement of the actuator generates continuous negative pressure within the liner for drawing fluid through the fluid transfer mechanism and collapsing the liner.

  • Patent number: 8145327
Abstract: A system of electrical modules includes a plurality of modules, including power modules, control modules, and output modules. Power modules provide power for powering one or more control and output modules. Control modules provide control signals to one or more output modules. Output modules perform predefined functions responsive to receiving power from a power module and/or a control signal from a control module. All of the modules have like mating connectors and like connector wiring. This arrangement forms a system bus across any given plurality of modules, when those modules are serially interconnected in a daisy chain. In at least one embodiment, the mating connectors and the connector wiring are standardized across the system such that any module can be coupled to any other module, and the ordering of the modules in the daisy chain is not fixed.

  • Patent number: 7537187
Abstract: A collapsible frame comprises a plurality of frame members joined together by a flexible tension cable. In one embodiment, the individual frame members are also joined together by an elastic cord to facilitate assembly. The tensioning member includes an arcuate cable track and is rotatably connected to the frame. Relative rotation of the frame and tensioning member in a first direction tightens the tension cable, while relative rotation of the frame and tensioning member in a second direction loosens the tension cable.

  • Patent number: 7384097
Abstract: A collapsible support frame includes a plurality of segmented legs pivotally connected to an inner surface of a collar, and are held together by an elastic cord. The legs pivot between a folded position and an deployed position. In the folded position, the legs segments form a bundle to facilitate storage or transport. Portions of the legs segments may seat within leg seats formed in the outer surface of the collar. In the deployed position, the legs pivot to contact leg support seats formed at angles in an inner surface of the collar. After contact, each leg extends in a different direction supported by its respective leg support seat. The elastic cord provides tension that keeps the leg segments together in the deployed position, and prevents the leg segments from becoming lost or separated in the folded position.

  • Patent number: 7374237
Abstract: A collapsible support frame includes a plurality of frame structures each having frame members joined together by a tension cable. A locking mechanism pivotably connects the frame structures and allows a user to move the frame structures between a folded position and an unfolded position. In the unfolded position, the frame structure is locked open and may carry a load. In the folded position, the frame structure is collapsed to form a bundle. A slack control member may provide tension to the tension cable when the support frame is unfolded, and to control slack in the tension cable when the support frame is folded.

  • Publication number: 20070199221
Abstract: A modular pedestal sign or suspended sign is formed as a hollow border defined by upper, lower and opposite side hollow members collectively setting-off an inboard signage area. The upper and lower hollow members are preferably each formed by hollow bodies which are snap-secured together and each also defines a pair of projecting legs which are in telescopic relationship to the hollow side members. A polymeric/copolymeric synthetic thermoplastic foam material is in situ molded in intimate relationship to interior surfaces of the border to rigidify the assembled components, though snap fasteners may be utilized.
