Abstract: An adhesive applicator for applying adhesive to a lamination of a core of an electric motor has a first substrate having an adhesive flow passage for conveying adhesive and an air flow passage for conveying pressurized air, a second substrate having a second substrate passage, and a slider having a slider passage. The slider is between the first and second substrates and moves between first and second positions. In the first position, the slider passage receives adhesive from the adhesive flow passage. In the second position, pressurized air from the air flow passage propels adhesive out of the slider passage, into the second substrate passage, out of the second substrate passage, and onto the lamination of the core.
