Abstract: A rebound bar adapted for being supported between a child safety seat and a backrest of a car seat is disclosed. The rebound bar includes a main body and at least one shock absorbing portion. The main body is connected to one of a seat portion and a base portion of the child safety seat. The at least one shock absorbing portion combined with the main body for absorbing an impact from the backrest. The at least one shock absorbing portion can produce deformation when the rebound bar receives the impact from the backrest. Therefore, it can effectively reduce risk of injury to a child. Furthermore, a child safety seat assembly having the aforementioned rebound bar is disclosed.

The seat portion has a lower surface facing downward, an upper surface facing upward for providing sitting support, a rear edge defining a rear border of the lower and upper surfaces, and a slot formed through the seat portion and opened on the lower and upper surfaces, the slot being located adjacent to the rear edge. The anchoring harness is routed through the slot and extends outward on the lower and upper surfaces. The anchoring harness includes a first and a second end, the first end having a fastener operable to attach with an external anchorage fixture, and the second end being positioned across the slot adjacent to the upper or lower surface, the second end being in obstructing contact against a region of the seat portion around the slot to retain the anchoring harness with the seat portion.

Abstract: The present application describes child seats having anchoring harnesses that can attach with an external anchorage fixture, such as the anchorage fixture provided in a vehicle. In some embodiments, the child seat comprises a seat portion and an anchoring harness. The seat portion includes a rear edge, and a slot and a bar segment disposed adjacent to the rear edge, the bar being accessible from an outside of the seat portion and extending transversally. The anchoring harness is assembled with the seat portion and includes a fastener operable to attach with an external anchorage fixture for holding the child seat in place, wherein the anchoring harness is routed through the slot and wraps at least partially around the bar segment.

Therefore, the invention is convenient for a caregiver to directly move the infant carrier from any place else to the infant-carrier docking station without waking up the baby sleeping on the infant carrier.
