Abstract: The present disclosure describes a directional radio frequency identification (RFID) system, which provides directional RFID tag scanning using RFID enclosures and moveable radio signal blocking components. The RFID systems herein also prevent unwanted RFID tag activation and focuses RFID readers on specific scan areas. The directional RFID systems may be implemented in any type of system that utilizes RFID tag reading, such as a point of sale systems and other related systems, which utilize RFID scanning.

Abstract: A wagering device video display system for displaying a presentation on a plurality of display devices. A plurality of gaming devices and video displays are provided. Each video display may be controlled by a video display controller that is adapted to communicate with other video display controllers. When a multi-screen presentation is requested by a gaming device or a game device controller, the video display controllers coordinate among themselves to determine when the presentation will be displayed. Various bonus presentations or attractive presentations may be displayed on a plurality of video screens.

Abstract: A fire resistant fibrous composite article includes fibers bound together into a consolidated fibrous article such as a fiberboard. A first fire retardant composition including a hydrated mineral is in the interior of the article. A second fire retardant composition including a boron-containing compound is in the surface of the article. In another embodiment, a fire resistant fibrous composite article includes fibers, a fire retardant hydrated mineral and a zeolite bound together into a consolidated fibrous article which is resistant to water absorption. Another embodiment provides a lignocellulosic fibrous composite board for use in a roof system in which the board is exposed to bonding energy when it is bonded to another roof system component during construction of the roof. Another embodiment relates to a roof system of which a lignocellulosic fibrous composite board is part. The board or the roof system is in compliance with one or more fire resistance or flame and smoke standards.

Abstract: A clipboard/padholder for holding, reading or writing on paper or a tablet while in a wind and to store and/or protect the paper from damage during heavy use or abuse of the clipboard. A frame having an opening holds the tablet or paper securely in place on all four sides. The frame is hinged to allow quick and easy access to changing the paper or turning pages. A cover that is hinged to the backboard and frame allows the paper to be protected from rain or snow when not in use or when laid down temporarily and allows for preserving confidentiality.
