  • Publication number: 20250029454
Abstract: A computer-implemented sports gaming system wherein game participants draft real-life sports teams and game participant's scores or rankings are based on two or more team metrics produced by those teams in real-life games.

  • Patent number: 11705118
Abstract: A system configured to process an incoming spoken utterance and to coordinate among multiple speechlet components to execute an action of the utterance, where the output of one speechlet may be used as the input to another speechlet to ultimately perform the action. The speechlets and intervening actions need not be expressly invoked by the utterance. Rather the system may determine how best to complete the action and may identify intermediate speechlets that may be provide input data to the speechlet that will ultimately perform the action. The speechlets may be configured to recognize a common universe of actions and/or entities rather than have each speechlet or subject matter domain have its own set of recognizable actions and entities.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: October 28, 2019
Date of Patent: July 18, 2023
    Assignee: Amazon Technologies, Inc.
Inventors: Bradford Lynch, Adam D. Baran, Kevindra Pal Singh, Udai Sen Mody
  • Patent number: 11348576
Abstract: A system configured to process an incoming spoken utterance and to coordinate among multiple speechlet components to execute an action of the utterance, where a trained model considers user history and preference information to select the primary speechlet to execute the action as well as any intermediate speechlets that may be provide input data to the speechlet that will ultimately perform the action. The trained model may also consider current dialog information, feedback data, or other data when determining how to process a dialog.

  • Publication number: 20160146074
Abstract: A compression brake device and method are provided that include a lash member coupled to a rocker arm. The lash member has a first position that forces opening of the valve when the rocker arm is at the lower position. The brake also includes a lost motion cylinder at least partially defined within the rocker arm. The cylinder is biased towards a position of greatest internal displacement volume. The lost motion cylinder has a first operational mode wherein the lost motion cylinder permits compression thereof such that the ability of the rocker arm to open an exhaust valve is a function of the position of the lash member. The lost motion cylinder has a second operational mode wherein the lost motion cylinder retards compression thereof such that the ability of the rocker arm to open an exhaust valve is independent of the position of the lash member.

  • Patent number: 9249698
Abstract: An engine compression braking system having a rocker lever and reset valve assembly to operate an engine in both normal power and braking modes while effectively controlling opening and closing of the exhaust valve for compression braking. The reset valve assembly includes a reset pin mounted in a passage of the rocker arm and movement of the reset pin in the compression mode of braking is controlled by contact of the reset pin with a support shaft which the rocker arm rotates around.
