  • Publication number: 20230341119
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to in grade light fixtures and recessed luminaires and subassemblies thereof, including, for example, a heat sink and pivot for a recessed luminaire, a gasket for the recessed luminaire, and an outer box and cover for installation of the recessed luminaire. The recessed luminaire comprises: a housing having an internal surface; and a light subassembly engaged with a thermally conductive body, the light subassembly having a first end and a second end, wherein the first end of the light subassembly is pivotally secured to a pivot arranged on, in, or proximate to the internal surface of the housing. The thermally conductive body is in thermal contact with the internal surface of the housing. The recessed luminaire further comprises a dehumidifier.

  • Patent number: 11708969
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to in grade light fixtures and recessed luminaires and subassemblies thereof, including, for example, a heat sink (10) and pivot (16) for a recessed luminaire (2), a gasket (100) for the recessed luminaire (2), and an outer box (70) and cover (4) for installation of the recessed luminaire (2). The recessed luminaire (2) comprises: a housing (6) having an internal surface (18); and a light subassembly (8) engaged with a thermally conductive body (10), the light subassembly (8) having a first end (53) and a second end (54), wherein the first end (53) of the light subassembly (8) is pivotally secured to a pivot (16) arranged on, in, or proximate to the internal surface (18) of the housing (6). The thermally conductive body (10) is in thermal contact with the internal surface (18) of the housing (5). The recessed luminaire (2) further comprises a dehumidifier (90).

  • Patent number: 10079506
Abstract: An AC circuit PLC injection module of a PLC-enabled power and data distribution system (300) includes: an AC power input (307) to receive an AC power signal; a PLC transceiver circuit (430/440) to couple a PLC signal onto the AC power signal; an AC circuit (411) to supply the AC power and the PLC signal; and a PLC blocking line filter (450) to filter the PLC signal from passing to the AC power input. An associated method for a system having plural PLC transmitters connected to plural PLC enabled devices via plural AC circuits each associated with one of the PLC transmitters, includes: setting PLC network IDs for each of the PLC enabled devices to a default PLC network ID, and then assigning each of the PLC enabled devices connected to each of the PLC transmitters to a PLC network ID uniquely assigned that PLC transmitter.

  • Patent number: 8907589
Abstract: Methods and apparatus for operating a group of lighting fixture nodes (10A-D) at a reduced power level are disclosed. In some versions of the methods a plurality of lighting fixture nodes in a group of electrically connected lighting fixture nodes may each be operated at a nominal fixture power level; a current draw across at least a test lighting fixture node of the lighting fixture nodes may be identified; and the extent to which to reduce power of each lighting fixture node may be determined as a function of the current draw across the test lighting fixture node.
