    Abstract: Apparatus for opposed terminals of an electrical device includes magnetic material carried by a cover formed of an electrically insulative material and concurrently covering the terminals, and a magnetic attraction between the magnetic material and the terminals magnetically coupling the cover to the terminals. In another embodiment, the apparatus includes covers formed of an electrically insulative material and connected by hinges to the electrical device for movement between open positions away from the terminals and closed positions covering the respective terminals.

    Abstract: A magnetic resonance (MR)-radiotherapy (RT) hybrid system for treating a patient is disclosed. The MR-RT hybrid system comprises: an MR imaging (MRI) apparatus comprising bi-planar magnets configured to generate a magnetic field; a radiation source configured to supply a radiation beam to treat the patient; a gantry configured to couple the MR apparatus at a first end and the radiation source so that they can rotate in unison; a treatment support configured to support the patient; a motor configured to move the treatment support; and a controller. The controller comprises a processor and memory having stored thereon instructions, which when executed by the processor, cause the motor to move the treatment support in order to avoid collision between the MRI apparatus and the patient when the MRI apparatus is rotated. A method for positioning the treatment support within the MR-RT hybrid system is also disclosed.

A transmitter (222) transmits the message to the destination device (106) and a timer (302) measures a first predetermined time. A processor (206) coupled to the receiver (204) monitors received messages during the first predetermined time period to determine when a response to the message was received and an output device (208, 212, 214) indicates when the response from the at least one identified destination device was not received within the first predetermined time period.

A vibrator motor (15) includes a modified eccentric weight (14) which becomes an efficient air mover upon being rotated about the axis (13). Integral to the eccentric weight (14) is a sound producing orifice (28). The orifice (28) generates an audible alert in response to air moving either across or through the orifice (28). The audible alert can be selectively enabled by the selective call receiver user, or by the message type received.

A plurality of charge storage devices (16) are secured between the pair of opposed spaced conductive runners (21). An electrically conductive split sleeve (14) is positioned surrounding the core (12), and has first and second edge portions in electrical connection with the pair of opposed spaced conductive runners (21) opposite said charge storage devices (16). Arrangements for mechanically mounting the antenna (10) are provided which are integral to the antenna (10). The mechanical mounting arrangements are separate from the arrangements provided for electrically connecting the antenna 10 to the receiver.
