Abstract: An apparatus and method for storing at least one interchangeable module within an existing storage space is disclosed. The apparatus includes a core layer having two substantially parallel planar faces and a layer thickness approximately as large as a module thickness of an interchangeable module between the planar faces, the core layer being shaped for receiving an interchangeable module. The apparatus further includes a plurality of side pieces sized to substantially cover the core layer and the opening formed in the core layer such that when the side pieces are disposed against the planar faces the side pieces enclose the opening on sides parallel with the planar faces with an only access point to the opening being in the first edge of the core layer. A securing component joins the side pieces to the core layer.
