  • Publication number: 20210097678
Abstract: Systems and techniques for generating and/or employing a computed tomography (CT) medical imaging fracture model are presented. In one example, a system employs a first convolutional neural network associated with vertebrae segmentation to generate learned vertebrae segmentation data regarding a spine anatomical region related to a CT image. The system also employs a second convolutional neural network associated with fracture segmentation to generate, based on the learned vertebrae segmentation data, learned fracture segmentation data regarding the spine anatomical region. Furthermore, the system detects presence or absence of a medical fracture condition in the CT image based on the learned vertebrae segmentation data and the learned fracture segmentation data.

  • Publication number: 20150381118
Abstract: Methods and devices for eliminating a systematic imbalance and reducing variations in circuit parameters for a high gain amplifies. A bias generator having a copy of an actual amplifier branch and an already generated bias voltage can be added to the amplifier to generate a bias voltage for a final current source at a current summing node so as to eliminate systematic imbalance in the bias current. A high impedance node can be wired in the bias generator such that all devices in the bias generator are in saturation across, for example, PVT (Process, Voltage and Temperature) corners in order to minimize tracking errors. A degeneration transistor similar to a differential pair element can be split into two equal halves.

  • Publication number: 20150377080
Abstract: A Rankine cycle system including a Rankine cycle working circuit and a lubrication circuit is disclosed. The lubrication circuit and the Rankine cycle working circuit include a shared segment including a mixture of Rankine cycle working fluid from the Rankine cycle working circuit and lubricant from the lubrication circuit. A separator receives the mixture of Rankine cycle working fluid and lubricant from the shared segment and separates the Rankine cycle working fluid from the lubricant. The separated Rankine cycle working fluid is directed along the Rankine cycle working circuit from the separator to the heating zone and the separated lubricant is directed along the lubrication circuit from the separator to a mechanical expander. The working fluid and lubricant are recombined after passing separately through the expander and are then introduced to the condensing zone.

  • Patent number: 9017532
Abstract: An electroplating system and components thereof facilitate an efficient electroplating process which in part reduces or eliminates the number of clips used on electroplating racks. Some electroplating racks may use skewers on which multiple plastic pieces are typically mounted. The plastic pieces may also be configured to be joined to form an assembly which is mounted on an electroplating rack. The configurations help reduce the time spent loading and unloading pieces on the racks.

  • Publication number: 20140146860
Abstract: A USB transceiver has transmitter circuitry, receiver circuitry, short-circuit detection circuitry, and short-circuit protection circuitry. The transmitter circuitry transmits a differential pair of outgoing data signals to a cable connected to the transceiver, and the receiver circuitry receives the differential pair of outgoing data signals via bi-directional input-output pins. The short-circuit detection circuitry analyzes each of the outgoing differential data signals to detect a short circuit in the pair of outgoing data signals, and the short-circuit protection circuitry protects the transmitter circuitry upon detection of a short circuit.

Abstract: An improved start-up (soft-start) circuit for use with voltage regulators, and an improved regulator start-up methodology. For example, an apparatus includes a voltage regulator circuit and a start-up circuit operatively coupled to the voltage regulator circuit. The start-up circuit is configured to provide a current signal, during a start-up period, that generates a reference voltage at a reference input of the voltage regulator circuit such that the reference voltage ramps up at a rate substantially equal to a ramp-up rate of a supply voltage coupled to the start-up circuit and the voltage regulator circuit.
