  • Publication number: 20260047985
Abstract: A multifunctional nutritional pacifier system is provided for delivering nutrients to an infant while also offering teething and sensory features. The system includes a nutrient delivery assembly having a nipple extending from a guard shield and a nutrient pod interface on the backside of the shield, with a piercing member for rupturing a sealed pod. A rear cap secures the pod for controlled release of nutrient gel through pinholes in the nipple during sucking. A flexible silicone bridge connects the nutrient delivery assembly to a teether toy assembly, which includes a luminescent, chewable ring with a hollow interior containing solid rattle objects. The bridge may include a molded reservoir for storage. A protective cover is also provided to enclose the nipple when not in use. The integrated system enhances infant nutrition, engagement, and hygiene in a unified, portable assembly.

  • Publication number: 20240225160
Abstract: Apparatus and associated methods relate to spacers configured to be selectively and releasably coupled to at least one attachment region on a garment. In an illustrative example, each spacer may be provided with successive concentric walls and corresponding channels. The spacer may, for example, be provided with intersecting concentric and lateral channels. An (under)garment may be provided with at least one attachment region configured to releasably couple to the spacer. Various embodiments may advantageously provide tangential and/or radial fluid communication between a wearer's body and an outer garment disposed over the spacers.

  • Publication number: 20230332870
Abstract: Apparatus and associated methods relate to impact dissipating protective garment (IDPG) including impact mitigating support spacers (IMSS) configured to facilitate dissipation impact energy. In an illustrative example, an IDPG includes a base garment and multiple spacers releasably and adjustably coupled to the base garment. In operation, for example, a wearer may wear a protective armor having an armor plate to cover at least part of the base garment. For example, at least some of the IMSS are adjustably positioned to suspend the armor plate at four distinctive points around a periphery of the armor plate. In some implementations, at least 50% of the armor plate is separated from the wearer by an air gap. Various embodiments may advantageously mitigate impact power transferred to the wearer by dissipating excess energy at the suspended armor plate and at the IMSS.

  • Publication number: 20220165145
Abstract: An electronic tilt sensing, tracking, and reporting system for monitoring a posture or a movement of a user seated in a chair. The system includes a mount adapted for attachment to the chair, and a sensor portion removeably secured to the mount. The sensor portion includes a sensing assembly that is adapted to sense an orientation of part of the chair relative to the ground on which the chair is supported to determine the posture or the movement of the user seated in the chair.

  • Patent number: 10376025
Abstract: A gem applicator assembly including a dispenser supporting a plurality of gems and an applicator. Each gem has an adhesive backing. The applicator includes a body with a support assembly supported by the body and configured to receive and support the dispenser with one of the gems alignable with an application target area. A plunger is supported relative to the body and movable relative thereto between an initial position and an application position wherein the push rod engages the aligned gem and pushes the gem such that the adhesive backing of an aligned gem moves toward the application target area. The gem dispenser may include a disk configuration with a plurality of spaced apart gem openings extending through the disk. Each gem is aligned with a respective gem opening.
