Abstract: A service test case generation and execution system is provided that automatically generates one or more test cases for the service according to a service definition associated with the service. The service definition can specify one or more methods available in the service and/or one or more parameters for the methods. Additionally, sets or ranges of valid values can be specified for the parameters (such as in a web service description language (WSDL) definition). Test cases can be automatically generated based on this information, including specifying a plurality of valid and invalid input parameters, and automatically executed to provide testing of many code paths of a service. Output can also be measured in this regard.
